The patient – Escape Room Osnabrück
Osnabrück, 25. August 1859.
Cholera is spreading like an epidemic throughout the town, and more and more people are becoming infected with the bacteria. Some are even suffering from what is known as ‘nervous fever’. Out of necessity, an old church deanery is converted into a hospital thanks to a generous donation. Three sisters from the Order of St. Borromeo in Trier agree to staff the hospital.
On 20 August, the first patient arrives at Marienhospital.
The nurses begin treatment immediately, but after just three days the patient appears to be beyond help. He is behaving very strangely and keeps insisting that the place is haunted.
The nurses are overwhelmed by this patient and are calling for help.
A group of science advocates sets out to unravel the patient’s mystery.
